Taygan Teneyck, a 10-year-old from Silver Lake, Kansas!
Taygan was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma on April 19, 2024, and began a courageous 10-month battle with weekly chemotherapy on May 2nd. Her treatment included eight weeks of daily radiation — six weeks targeting her facial region and two weeks focused on her lungs.
Throughout her journey, Taygan endured countless blood transfusions and extended hospital stays at Children’s Mercy due to unexplained fevers. She completed treatment on February 19, 2025 — a powerful milestone that reflects her strength and resilience.
Recently, doctors discovered excess iron around her heart. As she awaits her upcoming scans on May 16th, everyone remains hopeful for positive results.
